- Local-first processing: Most tools run directly in your browser so your files never leave your device.
- Temporary server jobs: If a task requires a server (for example, unusually large files), data is processed only to complete your request and removed after the task finishes.
- No selling or advertising use: We never sell, rent, or use your content for advertising.
Information we collect
- Usage insights: We review aggregate, non-identifying analytics to understand which tools are popular and to improve reliability.
- Support messages: If you contact us, we use your message solely to respond and troubleshoot.
- Recent tools: We store a small cookie to remember the tools you opened so you can find them quickly.
Cookies and local storage
We limit cookies to essential functions such as remembering recent tools or keeping temporary settings during a session. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, but some convenience features may not work as expected.
Data retention and deletion
- Browser-only tasks keep everything on your device; closing the tab clears the working data.
- For server-assisted tasks, temporary files are removed after processing unless law requires otherwise.

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), regularly patch dependencies, and scope internal access to only what is necessary to operate the site. Because many tools run locally, sensitive content stays with you.

Privacy-first processing every time
WizardOfAZ tools do not need registrations, no accounts or sign-up required. Totally Free.
- Local only: There are many tools like Text tools, some CSV tools, List tools etc. that are only processed on your browser. Data and Documents are transformed on your machine, so nothing is sent to our servers.
- Transparent progress: Watch the processing banner appear as soon as work begins and know exactly when it completes.
- Clear safeguards: Every tool links directly to our privacy policy and has been reviewed for accessibility.
- Secure Process: Some Tools need to be processed in the servers so the Old Wizard processes your files securely on our servers, keeping them for up to 1 hour so your tool can finish its work—after that, they are automatically deleted after 1 Hour.
